Step 1
Getting to know you
Our journey together starts with a session designed to gain a clear understanding of where you are currently and where you’d like to be heading. We’ll ask some of life’s big questions, finding out what you want to achieve and when you’d like to do it.
It’s all part of our holistic financial advice process, whereby we get to know you on a deeper level and take into consideration your life goals and personal circumstances.

Step 2
Fact finding
So that we can provide the best possible service, we’ll set out to gain as much information about your current financial circumstances as possible. This will include basic questions regarding you, your family, health, pensions, and liabilities – you get the idea! The more information we have, the better.
What we need at the end of this stage is to have a solid understanding of where you are personally and financially. Once we have all this, we can start on your plan.
Step 3
Creating your plan
Now that we know all there is to know about your life, we can go about creating a bespoke plan which will address your needs and goals. Every situation is unique, so there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to financial advice.
Our team of independent financial advisers use cashflow modelling and take the time to carefully find a solution that caters to you while taking into consideration your attitude to risk.
We value the regular reviews and know that he is happy for us to get in touch at any time with questions or to talk through changes in our requirements.

Step 4
Presenting your plan
Once we’re happy with the plan we’ve created, we’ll meet again to present it to you. This is the stage where everything starts coming together and you can finally visualise how your journey is going to look.
We’ll demonstrate various different outcomes so you can feel confident that the decision you make for the road ahead is the right one. Your financial adviser will present it in clear English so you can fully understand what everything means.
Step 5
Implementing your plan
After we’ve presented our recommendations and you’ve decided to go ahead with the advice, we’ll arrange all the necessary steps to implement your plan. You can sit back and relax, knowing that your plan is being taken care of by the experts.
We’ll deal with any paperwork and changes to existing arrangements and keep you informed of our progress at every stage, so you’ll never have to chase us for an update.
We have been clients of Zest for more than 30 years, which really speaks for itself. Through regular financial reviews, we have watched our investments grow, and we’re pleased to say that our early retirement plans have now been achieved.

Step 6
Keeping you on track
We all know that life has a habit of changing unexpectedly. That’s exactly why we give our clients the option of an annual review so that we can check that you’re still on track to achieve your goals. And if your circumstances have changed in any way, we can review and adapt your plan so that it doesn’t throw you off course.
We promise to be here every step of the way, from our first meeting to implementation and ongoing reviews. You can count on us.
